friendship with her Crime Junkie co-host and audiochuck CCO, Ashley Flowers. Together, they've nurtured a fascination for untangling mysteries, sparked by their fondness for Forensic Files, America's Most Wanted, and Nancy Drew novels during their formative years.
Brit's intrigue for solving puzzles led her to work briefly at a private investigation firm before introducing Ashley to the captivating world of true-crime podcasts in 2017. When Ashley decided to launch her own show later that year, Brit was the natural choice as co-host, and she eagerly embraced the opportunity.
In 2019, Brit took a leap of faith, leaving her conventional job to focus entirely on Crime Junkie—a decision that has proven rewarding as the show continues to enthrall listeners worldwide.
In each episode, Brit's role as the co-host involves skillfully probing the case at hand, skillfully asking the questions that listeners find themselves yelling out in their cars, eager to uncover the truth alongside her.
Outside the world of crime podcasts, Brit cherishes her downtime by indulging in her passion for documentaries, watching over a hundred each year. Additionally, she finds joy in cooking, entertaining friends and family, and mastering the art of knitting.
Brit's personal life centers around her family. She resides in Mishawaka, Indiana, with her high school sweetheart, now husband and their two children.
