John Bolton: "There Should Be a Very Strong Response" to Russian Bounties

Former National Security Advisor John Bolton to Joe Madison: "What the Russians are doing here, if—underline the word if—this is true, they're targeting American servicemembers for death or being wounded. And that is an effort to kill Americans, whether it's done directly or through surrogates, to me, doesn't make a lot of difference. So, I think there should be a very strong response...The Russians are probing, when they see weakness, they probe further. And so it doesn't necessarily have to be a symmetrical response to this, in terms of endangering Russian servicemembers. But it should be very very strong. And its impact on Russia should be palpable."
