SiriusXM in Your Tesla
SiriusXM’s All Access audio entertainment plan is available in the Model 3, Model Y and Cybertruck.
Tesla Premium Connectivity or active Wi-Fi connection required. Premium Connectivity sold separately by Tesla. Learn more about Tesla Premium Connectivity.

Model S, Model S Signature and Model X (if equipped) are equipped with SiriusXM satellite radio. Tesla Premium Connectivity or a WiFi connection not required to access SiriusXM in these vehicles.
Tesla Model 3, Y and Cybertruck owners may be eligible for a one-month trial to our premium level service. No credit card required.
Your trial must be activated in-vehicle and cannot be activated outside of the vehicle. Premium Connectivity or an active WiFi connection is required. Premium Connectivity sold separately by Tesla. Learn more about Tesla Premium Connectivity, here.
Install the latest Over-the-air (OTA) update via wifi connection.
Once the software update is installed, the SiriusXM Icon will display within Media Sources.
A blue dot underneath the app indicates a new app.
Open the SiriusXM app and select Listen Now.
Accept the terms and conditions.
Enjoy SiriusXM in your car or connected devices with the SiriusXM app
The remaining days in trial will display under the Subscription tab.
Model S and Model X owners may be eligible for a three-month trial to our premium level service. A trial subscription is only available to Customers without an existing SiriusXM subscription.
Contact SiriusXM at (855) 851-8750.
You will need your Radio ID number under the Subscription tab.
Tap the SiriusXM button from your in-car center touchscreen.
If you can’t hear SiriusXM channels, select the SiriusXM Subscription tab for instructions to refresh your radio.

Model 3, Y and Cybertruck:
Open SiriusXM in your Tesla and navigate to the Subscription tab.
Scan the QR code.
Create your SiriusXM Account.
Use an alternate email if you subscribed previously.
If desired, enable passkey and add a phone number.
Model S, Model S Signature, and Model X:
After your trial is activated, create a SiriusXM Account at siriusxm.com/get-login.
If desired, enable passkey and add a phone number.
Model 3, Y and Cybertruck:
Open SiriusXM in your Tesla and navigate to the subscription tab.

Create your SiriusXM Account.
Use an alternate email if you subscribed previously. Model 3, Model Y, Cybertruck cannot connect to existing accounts.

Choose a plan and purchase service.
Model S, Model S Signature, Model X (if equipped)
Contact SiriusXM at (855) 851-8750 or register your account online to sign up with a paid subscription.
You will need your Radio ID number, located under the Subscription tab.
Tap the SiriusXM button from your in-car center touchscreen.
If you can’t hear SiriusXM channels, select the Subscription tab for instructions to refresh your radio.
Connect to an active Wi-Fi connection.
Ensure software is up to date by installing the latest over-the-air update from Tesla.
Once the software update is installed, the SiriusXM icon will display within Media Sources, indicated with a blue dot.
Use the navigation bar at the top right of the screen to browse For You, Music, Talk & Podcasts, Sports, Library, and Subscription tabs. You can also use the voice or keyboard search options.
Voice search: Tap the microphone icon on your steering wheel for a global voice search. Use phrases like “Play Howard Stern” or “Search Conan O’Brien”.
Keyboard search: Tap the search button to display the global keyboard search. Type an artist or show.
SiriusXM content will be listed along with content from other apps.
Model 3, Model Y, or Cybertruck owners please chat or call 855-346-8182 for assistance. Current subscriptions cannot be transferred online.
Current service can be transferred online at for Model S, Model S Signature, Model X (if equipped) at siriusxm.com/transfer.
A trial subscription cannot be transferred from one vehicle to another.
Model 3, Model Y, or Cybertruck subscriptions cannot be added to an existing account at this time. Please create a new additional account using a different email than used with your existing account.
Model S, Model S Signature, Model X can be added to an existing account through the Online Account Center. Navigate to Subscriptions and Add another subscription. You will need your Radio ID number.
Model 3, Model Y, or Cybertruck plans cannot be modified online at this time. Please chat or call 855-346-8182 for assistance.
Model S, Model S Signature, Model X plans can be modified through the Online Account Center. Navigate to Subscriptions and select Manage next to your plan.
Open SiriusXM from your in-car center touchscreen.
Navigate to the Subscription tab.
Radio ID will be displayed.
The email address is already associated with a SiriusXM subscription. An email address can be used only once. If you previously used an email address on a SiriusXM account it cannot be used again. For Model 3, Y and Cybertrucks, it is necessary to create a new account using a different email address.
Please add your favorite music and shows to the library using the circular plus icon. Model 3, Model Y, and Cybertrucks cannot connect to existing account libraries at this time.
A variety of factors can impact SiriusXM in the car. Attempt the following to resolve:
Check that your Tesla’s internet connection is active through your Premium Connectivity subscription or Wi-Fi.
Check connectivity signal strength.
Close SiriusXM by switching audio sources.
Perform a Power cycle.
