About the WM-4 Receiver
Boaters can subscribe to SiriusXM Marine satellite weather service to access up-to-date, detailed weather forecasts, weather radar, lightning, storm warnings, sea surface temperatures, and much more — all delivered directly to your WM-4 Satellite Weather receiver for B&G, Lowrance, and Simrad systems.
Graphical information is overlaid on your charts so you can see weather and fishing info relative to the location of your boat. Plus you can access over 150 channels of SiriusXM entertainment at a discount when you add it to your subscription.
20.0 software update or later is required for WM-4 operation on these product families: Lowrance – HDS Live, HDS Carbon; Simrad – NSS evo3, NSS evo3S, NSO evo3, NSO evo3S; B&G – Zeus3, Zeus3S, Zeus3 Glass Helm, and Zeus 3S Glass Helm.

With the WM-4 and a compatible Simrad or Lowrance display you can subscribe to Fish Mapping – a plan including all of SiriusXM’s weather features, plus features to help you identify the best offshore fishing locations. Onshore planning using the fishing features, plus ocean currents, historical data, routing, and a measuring tool, is available via the Fish Mapping App. Weather features not available on the app.

Radar is color-coded and shows precipitation across the contiguous US and Southern Canada. Cloud-to-cloud and cloud-to-surface lightning strikes are also provided.

Fishing Recommendations
Recommendations by fish species, using data-driven analysis from oceanographers, shown as color-coded ovals.
Sea Surface Temperature Front Strength & Plankton Front Strength
View SST Front Strength, which shows temperature changes that create distinct boundaries between bodies of water and attract bait fish. Strong or very strong Plankton Fronts illustrate areas preferable to game fish.
