In addition to hosting Urban View Mornings, Lamont can be heard nationwide every Friday on the Karen Hunter Show. He is also the curator of Foolishness Friday Live!, which is the live and traveling version of the satellite radio show. This year he is celebrating 25 years as a professional media personality. Greg Kimathi Carr is an Associate Professor of Africana Studies and Adjunct Instructor of Law at Howard University. As Chair of Howard’s Afro American Studies Department, he helped assemble the largest number of PhDs in Africana Studies at any HBCU. Greg is First Vice President of the Association for the Study of Classical African Civilizations, a board member of the National Council for Black Studies and has twice been named “HBCU Male Faculty Member of the Year” by HBCU Digest. Greg designed the curriculum framework for Philadelphia’s mandatory high school African American History course and co-founded Philadelphia Freedom Schools, work he continues through the Center for Black Educator Development.
