President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump are ready to face off in the first Presidential debate of the 2024 election cycle. Broadcasting live from the CNN studios in Atlanta, the debate begins Thursday at 9pm ET. CNN hosts Dana Bash and Jake Tapper will serve as the moderators.

CNN set the terms for this debate and both candidates agreed. There are two requirements that are very different from all other debates: there will be no audience, and microphones will be turned off when it’s not the candidate’s turn to speak. The debate begins at 9pm ET and will run 90 minutes with two commercial breaks.

How to listen

Starting June 27 at 9pm ET, tune in to CNN on satellite channel 116 and streaming on the SiriusXM app.
