The Green Bay Packers delivered an unforgettable Week 3 comeback, becoming only the third team since 2000 to overcome a 17-point deficit in the fourth quarter to win after being shut out in the first three quarters.

Quarterback Jordan Love had a career day, recording career highs in completions (22) and passing yards (259). In Week 3, Love achieved his first career game with both a passing and rushing touchdown and now has thrown a touchdown pass in each of his first four career starts.

Running back Aaron Jones has been a home field hero, aiming for his sixth consecutive game at home with over 60 scrimmage yards. In his last three home games against Detroit, Jones has amassed 419 scrimmage yards and 7 touchdowns (4 receiving, 3 rushing).

The Packers’ receiving corps boasts rising stars like Romeo Doubs, who secured his third receiving touchdown of the season in Week 3, and Christian Watson, who posted a remarkable 104 receiving yards in their last meeting. Watson has yet to play this season, but could be a same day decision on Thursday.

Rookie receivers Jayden Reed (63 receiving yards in Week 3) and Luke Musgrave (6 receptions in Week 3) are also making strides.

On the defensive side, linebacker Rashan Gary had a career-high 3 sacks in Week 3, showcasing his pass-rushing prowess. Meanwhile, cornerback Rasul Douglas has been a Thursday night standout with 4 interceptions in 6 career Thursday games, aiming for his third consecutive Thursday game with an interception.

Away: Detroit Lions

The Lions, led by QB Jared Goff, are aiming to continue their stride after a spirited Week 3 performance where Goff displayed his dual-threat abilities, recording both a passing and rushing touchdown. With a career record of 16 touchdowns (15 passing, 1 rushing) versus just 2 interceptions in 8 Thursday games, Goff’s Thursday night prowess is undeniable. He also boasts an impressive 9 touchdown passes against the Packers in his career, along with a 98.4 rating in 5 starts against Green Bay.

In the backfield, David Montgomery is a key player to watch, having accumulated 653 scrimmage yards in 7 career games against the Packers. He’s on track for his seventh consecutive Thursday game with over 50 scrimmage yards. Keep an eye on Montgomery, who may not play Thursday due to an injury.

Meanwhile, rookie sensation Jahmyr Gibbs has already turned heads with his consistent performance, joining the select club of rookie running backs with 50+ scrimmage yards in each of their first 3 games.

Goff has a reliable receiving corps to target, including Amon-Ra St. Brown, who showcased his skills with 9 receptions for 102 yards in Week 3. St. Brown aims to secure his third consecutive game with over 100 receiving yards and his fifth straight with at least 6 receptions. He has also found success against Green Bay with 50+ receiving yards in 2 of his last 3 encounters.

The rookie tight end, Sam LaPorta, has been making history with 18 receptions in his first 3 career games, a record for rookie tight ends.

Defensive standout Aidan Hutchinson aims to replicate his Week 3 performance when he notched 2 sacks, 2 pass deflections, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery. Hutchinson was a force to be reckoned with in the previous meeting against the Packers, securing 2 sacks and an interception.
