Florida Georgia Line, Old Dominion, Maren Morris, Sam Hunt — you heard them first as a Highway Find! SiriusXM’s destination for today’s country hits, The Highway (Ch. 56) is always on the hunt for the next big name in country music. Who will it be? Keep checking back to find out!
ABOUT RYAN GRIFFIN
Raised in Florida by parents whose love of music exposed him to the voices of George Strait and Vince Gill, Griffin proclaimed at an early age, “I want to be a country music singer.” It was a desire and dream that he never veered from – encouragement from friends, success at talent contests, the joy he derived from it and the opportunity to meet with a major label executive brought him to Nashville as a high school freshman. College years at Belmont University gave him glimpses of how the music business works – and opened the door to songwriting. In the years since, he’s been fine-tuning his sound and is now set to release his first EP, due out March 10, led by the single Back Seats & Burnt CDs.

WHY WE LOVE HIM
“My favorite thing about The Highway is turning subscribers on to new artists and new tunes like the melodic “what could have been” tale on Back Seats & Burnt CDs. I’m pretty sure we’ve all experienced a piece of this story (although some of us substituted CDs with cassette tapes — did I just date myself?). I think Ryan is gonna stick around.” – Buzz Brainard
