October 15, 2024

SiriusXM + Pandora’s The HBCU Pop Out, featuring a homecoming concert with headliner GloRilla, takes place at Florida A&M University on Halloween (October 31). Check out details on how to RSVP to the event, listen to the HBCU Dream to Be station on Pandora, and more.

The HBCU Pop Out

As a pre-party to the Homecoming concert, SiriusXM + Pandora is hosting a mix of students, alumni, and friends for a tailgate-style Pop Out event featuring The Heat’s DJ Steel from 1–6pm ET.

The celebration will be hosted on the outdoor grounds of the FAMU campus, and HBCU students and alumni will be treated to music, swag, and more, thanks to our sponsors!

  • Cricket Wireless is ensuring attendees’ sneaker game looks FRESH for Homecoming Weekend! They will be hooking attendees up with complimentary sneaker cleanings and sneaker charms, and one lucky winner will go home with a custom pair of Cricket kicks.
  • Target invites attendees to experience a complimentary beauty studio, offering express makeovers and grooming services. The beauty studio will feature Black-owned and founded brands from Target’s Black Beyond Measure initiative. In addition, founders from select brands as well as Target’s Talent Acquisition team will be onsite to meet with students and alumni to discuss their inspiration, career path, and future plans. Attendees will be treated to a FREE gift bag filled with samples of the featured brands.
  • State Farm is offering a generous monetary gift to the FAMU Food Pantry, an on-campus organization whose mission is to provide nutritious food to FAMU students and community members in need. Attendees will get to partake in driving up the monetary gift amount by participating in a fun and interactive football toss and spreading the word on their social platforms.
