Here’s how the SXM Big Ten Radio team voted to shape this week’s edition of the 2024 “Power Rankings”:
1. Ohio State (2-0)
The Buckeyes were idle last week and host Marshall on Saturday.
2. USC (2-0)
The Trojans had the weekend off and are back in action at Michigan this week.
3. Penn State (2-0)
The Nittany Lions enjoyed a bye week before hosting Kent State on Saturday in Happy Valley
4. Oregon (3-0)
The Ducks’ took care of in-state rival Oregon State 49-14 last week and are off this weekend
5. Nebraska (3-0)
The Huskers rolled over Northern Iowa 34-3 and now host Illinois in Lincoln on Friday night.
6. Illinois (3-0)
The Fighting Illini remained perfect with a 30-9 win over Central Michigan and head to take on Nebraska Friday night
7. Indiana (3-0)
A 42-13 win over UCLA has the Hoosiers off to an undefeated start and they’ll host Charlotte Saturday afternoon.
8. Rutgers (2-0)
The Scarlet Knights had a bye week and will travel to play Virginia Tech on Saturday.
9. Michigan (2-1)
The Wolverines bounced back to beat Arkansas State 28-18 and will host USC in The Big House.
10. Iowa (2-1)
The Hawkeyes got past Troy 38-21 and travel to Minnesota on Saturday.
11. Michigan State (3-0)
The Spartans head into a bye week after shutting out Prairie View 40-0.
12. Maryland (2-1)
The Terps went on the road and beat Virginia Tech 27-13 and host Villanova on Saturday.
13. Washington (2-1)
The Huskies lost the Apple Cup to Washington State 24-19 and host Northwestern on Saturday.
14. Minnesota (2-1)
A 27-0 win for the Gophers last Saturday who now host Iowa Saturday night,
15. Wisconsin (2-1)
The Badgers have an off week after being blown out at home versus Alabama 42-10.
16. Northwestern (2-1)
The Wildcats took care of Eastern Illinois 31-7 and travel to Washington on Saturday.
17. Purdue (1-1)
The Boilermakers travel to Oregon State on Saturday after getting drilled by Notre Dame 66-7 last week.
18. UCLA (1-1)
The Bruins lost at home to Indiana 42-13 and now face LSU on Saturday.
