Travis Kelce: You gotta give 100% effort every single day. There’s no way you build that relationship with those tendencies and that understanding through each other’s game without doing that. And I think Coach Reid set the tone, for me, especially when I first got here, but even more so when Pat got here, we all took it up a notch. It’s just so many reps, so much ability to just, you know, talk to him and understand how he likes to see the game, how he likes to, you know, see how guys get open versus certain coverages, and then everything else is just timing.

Patrick Mahomes: Well, I mean, I think the freedom that Coach Reid gives us helps a ton, and then the freedom to know the entire offense. So Travis played every position in the offense. Even though he’s at the tight end position, he’s played every receiver position, everything like that. And so he knows what he can get away with. He knows what the full concept of the play is and, like you said, over that many amount of reps, I just know what he’s gonna do. And so it just comes with hard work, and you can never get this guy off the football field, so we kind of built that chemistry through practice and games.
