Christian McCaffrey Injury Update: ‘If We had a Game, I’d play’

The All-Pro running back expects to be ready for Week 1 of the regular season.

Christian McCaffrey appeared on SiriusXM NFL Radio (Ch. 88) during the San Francisco 49ers’ training camp and gave an encouraging update about his injury.

The All-Pro running back, who hurt his calf earlier in training camp, told NFL Radio hosts Amber Theoharis and Tim Ryan that he’ll be ready to play by Week 1 of the regular season.

“If we had a game, I would play,” McCaffrey said.
