Brett Favre Andy Reid 800In sticking with his prediction that the Green Bay Packers will face the New England Patriots in the Super Bowl, Brett Favre points out a major difference between the quarterbacks squaring off in Sunday’s NFC Championship in Atlanta.

The biggest is that the Falcons’ Matt Ryan has far more to prove than the Packers’ Aaron Rodgers.

‘What matters is where you take us in the playoffs’

“I think the pressure falls more so on Matt Ryan for obvious reasons,” Favre told Bruce Murray during his regular appearance on the SiriusXM Blitz. “He played tremendous this year. No one can argue that. But … there’s this little tidbit hanging over his shoulder that doesn’t really matter now. What matters is where you take us in the playoffs to justify your career. Right or wrong, I just believe that that’s what’s hanging there.

‘Aaron, on the other hand, has done it’

“Aaron, on the other hand, has done it. He’s been successful. He’s taken his team so many times, and there’s no reason to believe that that would change this week.

“So I think the pressure falls on Matt.”
