Greg Jennings is at peace with his decision to retire after 10 seasons as a wide receiver in the NFL.

He has no intention of changing his mind, even if a contending team — including the Green Bay Packers, his last employer — calls him at some point before or during the season.

“I am not coming out of retirement to play,” Jennings told Bruce Murray and Brady Quinn on the SiriusXM Blitz Tuesday. “You know what? I’m one of those people that, when I make a decision, it is what it is. And, right now, just mentally, you have to be all in to play this game. You can’t halfway be in and half not. And it’s not just a physical game, it’s a mental game and it’s draining mentally.

“And I’m at the point where, mentally, I’m beyond the game. I can’t do it anymore, I just can’t. Physically, I can do it, I know that I can do. But I just don’t want to.”

Jennings said he doesn’t know what he will do next.

“I can’t sit here and say I know, because I have options that I’m going to exhaust,” he said. “Whether that be acting, whether that be (broadcast) analyst work, an executive position on one of the 32 franchises … Entrepreneurship is always in play. I don’t even like to say I don’t know. I just say all of those things are what I’m running towards.”
