Kareem Hunt on Chiefs: ‘Honestly, we’re really dangerous’

Kareem Hunt thinks every team facing the Kansas City Chiefs should expect to have its hands full. And as far as the rookie running back is concerned, that’s especially true of the Chiefs end up reaching the postseason.

Kareem Hunt thinks every team facing the Kansas City Chiefs should expect to have its hands full.

And as far as the rookie running back is concerned, that’s especially true of the Chiefs end up reaching the postseason.

‘We know we can play with anybody’

He sees the combination of tight end Travis Kelce, wide receiver Tyreek Hill, quarterback Alex Smith, and himself as being more than opposing teams can handle.

“Honestly, we’re really dangerous,” Hunt told Cole Wright and Lance Moore on Late Hits. “We know we can play with anybody. We beat the Eagles earlier in the season and the Patriots. And those two teams, right now, are playing on a high level. We know, when we play at a high level, we can pretty much beat anybody and compete with anybody. That just comes from good coaching and players who want to win.”

‘When we’re all on the same page and everybody up front’s going, we’re hard to stop’

Hunt has high praise for Chiefs coach Andy Reid and his ability to make the most out of the weapons he has.

“He’s able to get guys like Kelce, Tyreek and I and Alex, we’re all on the same page,” the running back said. “When we’re all on the same page and everybody up front’s going, we’re hard to stop. I definitely believe we’ve got more than enough talent to be one of those great teams that, hopefully, make it to the Super Bowl.”
