SiriusXM Remembers Former One Direction Singer Liam Payne

SiriusXM Hits 1 (Ch. 2) is sad to report that Liam Payne, one of the founding members of ONE DIRECTION and a member of the SiriusXM family, has passed away at the age of 31.

Liam became a part of the largest boyband in the world when put together in 2010 on the UK show “The X-Factor.”

After filling out stadiums around the world, and selling tens of millions of albums, the group took an indefinite hiatus in 2015 – with Liam and each member taking the time to evolve as individuals and artists.

As Liam grew into his own he became a parent with Cheryl, his former partner and fellow UK singer, in 2017. He is survived by his son, Bear Grey.
