2. Penn State (11-1)

The Nittany Lions took care of Maryland 44-7.

3. Indiana (11-1)

The Hoosiers toppled Purdue 66-0.

4. Ohio State (10-2)

The Buckeyes lost to Michigan 13-10.

5. Illinois (9-3)

The Fighting Illini beat Northwestern 38-28.

6. Michigan (7-5)

The Wolverines edged Ohio State 13-10.

7. Iowa (8-4)

The Hawkeyes beat Nebraska 13-10.

8. Minnesota (7-5)

The Golden Gophers took care of Wisconsin 24-7.

9. USC (6-6)

The Trojans lost to Notre Dame 49-35.
