Kurt Warner’s incredible story of NFL success has been well documented as one of the most inspirational in all of sports.
From grocery store stock boy to the Arena Football League to two-time NFL MVP and a Super Bowl MVP quarterback.
‘You go on a quest not only to play but to be the best’
Now, Warner’s career has been punctuated by his induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. And he hopes the honor will result in more inspiration.
“Obviously, what a tremendous honor to have bestowed upon you,” Warner told Bruce Murray and Brady Quinn on the Sirius XM Blitz. “From the time you’re very young, you go on a quest to not only play to be the best at whatever you do, but to be considered in that category and headed Canton, what a tremendous honor.
‘The end can be great if you just keep believing’
“Very humbling when you think about the route that I had to take to get here, but very exciting to be able to expand the platform and hopefully encourage and inspire others kind of by the stamp that goes on the end of the career. There are so many people that have been able to associate with my ride, the ups and downs and the struggles that’s very much like what real life is.
“And now I hope to encourage people that the end can be great if you just keep believing.”
