The Washington Redskins entered the season with low expectations from many pundits.
Certainly, few of them would have expected last Sunday’s 17-14 victory at Seattle — especially with the many injuries the Redskins have had to overcome.
‘That’s just our team saying, ‘We’re not whatever y’all thought we were”
The win put the team at 4-4. According to linebacker Zach Brown, it also sent a strong message to the rest of the NFL.
“That’s just our team saying, ‘Hey, look, we’re here. We’re not whatever y’all thought we were, even with all the injuries. We’re still a good team,'” Brown told Bruce Murray and Brady Quinn on the SiriusXM Blitz.
‘We’re going to keep fighting no matter what’
In Week 10, the challenge doesn’t get any easier. The Redskins are home to face the 6-2 Minnesota Vikings.
“So we’re just going to keep playing our style of football,” Brown said. “We’re going to keep fighting no matter what. Don’t let our 4-4 record fool you.”
